Page Background:

  • The Page Background can be an image or a video.

  • If it is a video, it will loop continuously.

  • If you would like to change the background colour or set to an image or video, please contact the website developer

  • If you wish to use a video as a background, we recommend keeping the file size to less than 50MB

Header Background:

  • The header background is the part at the very top of the page; the part that has the menu in it.

  • can be only a colour; not an image. However, it can be set to be partially or completely transparent so the Page Background can be seen behind the menu etc.

Item Details

New Item Name

Give this item a name. Here are some examples:

  • If it's an entry form call it "XYX Competion Entry Form" or something like that

  • If it's a product you're selling, say what it is like "Club T-shirt"

  • If you're selling raffle tickets say 'Raffle tickets for XYX" or "Raffle tickets. See below for prizes!"

Is it Free?

Base Price:

$

This is the price of the item before the user selects any options or optional extras.

  • Eg. If it's a T-shirt and you are offering different sizes and they all cost $20 but the XXXL  size costs $5 more then the base price is $20 and the price of the XXXL option is $5

  • You create 'Options' later by inserting special rows inside your product listing

Don't Panic...

  • It may look complicated, but just take it one step at a time.

  • Your about to set up a series of buttons that your website visitor will be able to click on. They will use these buttons to answer a question that you pose. For example: "Which one of these options best describes your dog?".

  • Or, the question might be in a simpler form for example: "Product Colour", "Shirt Size" or "Competition Entry Category"

  • Enter the question you are asking below. There is also a 'Preview and Test' window at the bottom to help you along the way.

Question:

Number of Options

  • How many options can the user choose from?

  • Minimum: 2. Maximum 10. If you need more than 10, you could break them up into two separate questions where one of the answers to the first question is "None of these"

Option Details:

  • You need to set up every option individually. The default (starting) option is always option #1.

  • Select each option using the red buttons below and fill out the details for each and every one.

What text do you want to appear next to this option:

If they choose this option, do you want to display a special message.

Eg "Now go to question 7"

What message would you like displayed?

If they choose this option, do they need to type in some other information for you?

What you type here will appear on the screen to prompt them to enter it:

Does the total price change if they choose this option?

By how much? This amount will be added to the Base Price that you set in the top row of this form/product.

If this option reduces the price, make the number negative

$

If they choose this option, do you want to hide next row in your form?

For example, let's say you have a question in the next row of your form. But, that question isn't relevant if they choose this option. By choosing 'Yes' the question in the next row will be hidden if they choose this option.

If they choose this option, does it stop them from continuing?

Select this for the 'No' option if you are asking something like "do you accept the terms and conditions. Or, "You must be a student to enter. Are you a student?"

How will the options be displayed?

  • Depending on how many options there are and how long the description of each option is, it might look better with the options arranged horizontally or vertically. Just try both and see the Preview window further below to decide which is better

  • Your about to create an empty box into which your website visitor can type something.

  • Usually it's an answer to a question you are asking like: "What is your pet rabbit's name?"

  • Or, the question might be in a simpler form for example: "Name:", "Shirt Size" or "Suburb"

  • Enter the question you are asking below.

What is it?

Is there a maximum number of characters allowed?
