About Yarram Rotary
Welcome to the Rotary Club of Yarram. We are part of a global community of more than 1.2 million people dedicated to building a better world.
We make our community in and around Yarram stronger and a better place to live, care, share and enjoy!

Our members bring skills, experience, and enthusiasm to our club. Through the Rotary community, we exchange ideas and build lifelong friendships with people who share our passion for service.
Take advantage of the resources and activities available through our club, district, and Rotary International to make your experience with Rotary both rewarding and fun.
We have a goal: Help make Yarram and the surrounding region a better place to live, work, grow and play.
Our Values
Our values are rooted in guiding principles that have always defined Rotary. Values drive our behaviour. They represent our beliefs, what we do, and how we act.
The Four Way Test
The Four-Way Test of the things we think, say or do is a test used by Rotarians world-wide as a moral code for personal and business relationships. The test can be applied to almost any aspect of life.
Never changed, the test remains today a central part of the permanent Rotary structure throughout the world, and is held as the standard by which all behaviour should be measured.
The test has been promoted around the world and is used in myriad forms to encourage personal and business ethical practices.
A CORNERSTONE OF THE YARRAM & DISTRICT COMMUNITY FOR MORE THAN 75 YEARS
Since its formation more than seventy five years ago, the Rotary Club has become an integral part of the community in and around Yarram.
Our members and friends provide community service to both local and international communities.
The Rotary Club of Yarram is proud of our achievements over the years since being established way back in 1947. Regular activities and events include a strong presence at the annual Tarra Festival where we conduct a professional-standard Art Show, meat spins in the main street before the procession, and a traditional Aussie barbecue.
Our annual Charity Fun Golf Day is a highlight – it is held in November at the award winning Yarram Golf Club.

The Rotary Club of Yarram was instrumental in the initiation of the Yarram outdoor Swimming Pool, including preparation of the bricks used in its construction, the cover for the pool and the solar heating.
Our team has helped build or support many projects in the community:
-
The Yarram Library
-
The Station youth centre
-
The Barbecue Rotunda in Memorial Park
-
Tree planting along the Tarra Trail bike track
-
The establishment of Meals on Wheels in Yarram
-
The establishment of Yarram Chamber of Comerce
-
The establishment of the Foster Rotary Club
-
The establishment of Yarram Probus Club
Individual members continue to be directly involved in a number of community projects and serve on various other boards and committees.
The Club initiated and obtained grant monies to erect a covered walkway and carport at the town’s aged care hostel, Crossley House, to enable residents and others to enter the facility in all weathers under cover.
